The Responsive I is a blog for contemporary art focused on optical art and kinetic art. The Responsive I is your source for op art, unique art, idiomatic art, individualized art, non conformist art, idiosyncratic art.
From the curator of the blog, Eva Zanardi:
"I happen to have a very “responsive” set of eyes. I need to feed my Responsive I, constantly.
I love op art and kinetic art, hence this blog’s title, which is a play on words on the 1965 seminal exhibition, “The Responsive Eye” – partially responsible for putting op art on the map.
I will share my favorite artists, iconoclasts and non conformists on this blog, not to catechize but to help feeding your own Responsive I.
